PROFILE/ MARCEL VESGA GERARDINO
Marcel is an Industrial Design B.A. and a M.A. in Digital Media from HFK- Bremen; with more than 12 years+ experience supporting the design industry in Latin America and Europe since 2008. His previous work consists in the creation, execution and direction of Industrial + UI-UX design projects for diverse clients in different industries and design fields, including various markets from financial institutions such as the Colombian Central Bank, Trade Platforms, Hearing Care Industry, Private Companies, Schools, Artists, Engineers, Musicians and Politicians.
He has also developed several freelance projects from conception to execution and implementation which involve the creation of new concepts for products, ephemeral architecture, stage design, POP, Web and Multimedia Design, Consulting, Usability studies, E-marketing, Digital and Social Media Strategies. In areas ranging from Product, Interaction, New Interfaces, New Media Design, Data and Motion Visualization for Musical instruments, UI-UX and Interaction Design, as well as experimental projects in Video production, Video Projection Mapping, Generative/ Parametric design, Touch & Motion Recognition.
His most recent Design work revolves around Design Systems in the areas of sound, hearing care, and e-health & the facilitation of Design Thinking workshops & Design Sprints.
